More recently she wrote a book called Moving Through Menopause which garnered her the role of the spokesperson for the International Council on Active Aging.

In 1985, Jamie Lee Curtis starred alongside John Travolta in the film, Perfect. The film was based on a number of articles in the late 1970s that chronicleded the popularity of LA health clubs among single people.
The film brought Curtis more recognition and had Quentin Tarantino claiming that it was a greatly under-appreciated film.
