While on set for the thriller “Proof of Life,” Meg Ryan and Russel Crowe were caught snuggling up to one another, which led up to the end of Ryan’s marriage to Dennis Quaid. They filed for joint custody of their eight-year-old son, Jack, and went their separate ways.
Years later, Jack opened up about his parent’s divorce, “It’s kind of hard to ignore when you’re at a grocery store, and you’re like, checking out and those magazines on the side [feature] a photo of [Ryan and Quaid] with a little paper rip thing.” As you may have already guessed, Ryan and Crowe’s affair was short-lived.
Northern Lights
Who would have thought that a Lifetime movie would end of two marriages? During the filming of the film, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville's ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, cheated on her with LeAnn Rimes.
Shortly after news of the "Northern Lights" actors hooking up during production, the two divorced their respective partners. It wasn't all for nothing either as Rimes and Cibrian tied the knot in 2011.
Titanic
"Titanic" director James Cameron and actress Linda Hamilton, were not even married for a full year before the director fell for actress Suzy Amis. Cameron and Hamilton managed to stay together for two years, though Hamilton explained אhat she had a hard time reconciling the broken relationship.
Because of "Titanic's" enormous success, every award Cameron would win broke Hamilton's heart a little more. Though their love was strong, the couple couldn't make it work, and shortly after their divorce, James married Amis.
Mind Over Murder
Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling have been married for more than fifteen years, and have five children together. They were both married to other people when they first met.
The couple met on the set of Lifetime's "Mind Over Murder," and less than a year later, they eloped in Fiji. They have been inseparable since the day they met, and have never looked back. When it's a match made in heaven, there is no reason to look back, is there?
Silence
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's relationship was simply too good to be true. But what goes up must come down, and Stone and Garfield came down hard. Garfield's intense dedication to his character in "Silence" is what led to the ultimate demise.
Garfield was eager to give his performance his all, losing a lot of weight and embracing his character completely. The split seemed to be an amicable one, and the two actors are friendly to this day. It looks like their romance just wasn't meant to be, and though they've moved on, we're still torn up about it.
