UFC fighter Paige VanZant was known for her love of hunting as well as fishing and dirt bike racing while growing up. Today, she is one of the most recognizable UFC stars, though she has never won a championship. VanZant has crafted her image through social media, which landed her TV spots outside of the ring.
VanZant was on season 22 of “Dancing with the Stars” and also made an appearance on “Chopped.” Outside of this, VanZant has modeled and written an autobiography, which makes up part of her $3.5 million net worth.
Simone Biles – $4 Million
Simone Biles has become a household name for her incredible wins at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Biles took the gold medal for the vault, all-around, and the floor exercise categories as well as for being a part of the win for the U.S. team.
Before she was rolling in gold medals, Biles also had around $2 million in prize money and endorsements. The 2016 Olympics were certainly not the end of her cash flow, as she has added another $2 million to her net worth.
Caroline Wozniacki – $30 Million
The Danish Caroline Wozniacki is known to be an exceptional, defensive player and, though she may be retired, she took a monumental $34 million in prize money when she walked off the court. At age 19, Wozniacki went straight to the US Open finals in 2009.
Though she may have dropped in the rankings in the years after, she still went on to be a seasonal contender. Wozniacki proved herself a champion as she navigated the ups and downs of her career. She managed to make a comeback when she won the Australian Open in 2018.
Yani Tseng – $8 Million
Though Yani Tseng has had a fluctuating career, she is the youngest woman to have won five major golfing championships at just age 22. The Taiwanese golf pro endured a downturn in her career since her domination from 2008 to 2012, but she has won over $10 million in prize money.
Tseng did hold the number one spot in women’s golf rankings for 109 weeks straight and is four points away from being inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. Today, it is estimated that she is worth about $8 million.
Nilla Fischer – $5 Million
Swedish soccer player Nilla Fischer may not have made a lot of money from her time on the field alone, but she has made a lot of money from her endorsement deals. Fischer has landed some very coveted deals with brands like Puma, that have helped her achieve her net worth of $5 million.
Unfortunately, only the highest-paid female players see over $100,000 in their annual paychecks. But Fischer has caught public attention, not only as a pro athlete but also for her advocacy for better working conditions and equal pay for female soccer players around the globe.
