When you’re a child to one of the world’s most popular athletes, expect to be a favorite subject among the media, fans and sports analysts. In the case of Charlie Woods, his parents, golfer Tiger Woods, and former model, Elin Nordegren, have nothing to worry about. Charlie, who is now 10-years-old, seems to already be a pro in playing golf.
In 2016, when he was just seven years old, Charlie bagged 2nd place in the U.S. Kids Golf Boys 7 event, held in Palm Beach, Florida. What else can we expect with this talented kid? The younger Woods seems set to create a successful career of his own in the near future.
Robin Borg
Björn Rune Borg is a celebrated world champion tennis player. He was widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of tennis. With 11 Grand Slam and 15 Grand Prix Super Series titles, he truly deserves his international recognition and huge fan base. Perhaps the best thing about his achievements is that his son, Robin, also inherited his passion and talent for tennis.
The young Borg plays at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater while pursuing his advertising degree. Bjorn must be thrilled and proud that his son is fueled with determination to be the next tennis superstar. Way to go, Robin!
Trevor Gretzky
Wayne Douglas Gretzky is a retired professional hockey player and head coach. Nicknamed “The Great One,” he played for 20 seasons in the NHL and was considered as “the greatest hockey player ever.” Wayne has five children with actress, Janet Jones, namely Paulina, Ty, Trevor, Tristan, and Emma.
Ty played hockey but eventually quit the sport while Trevor is a former minor league baseball player. He hasn’t made it yet to the pros but we have faith that he’ll get there eventually. With his legendary father as his coach, we’re confident that Trevor will get to his dream field and start taking out his dream awards.
Kelly Christina Nascimento
Daughter to legendary soccer player, Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pelé, Kelly Cristina Nascimento found success, not on the football field, but in the entertainment industry. The 50-year-old actress is also a talented singer and founded the former Walkabout Theater Company in Manhattan.
Kelly’s father is considered as one of the greatest soccer players of all time. He was voted World Player of the Century in 1999 and stunned a lot of famous figures. “My name is Ronald Reagan, I'm the President of the United States of America. But you don't need to introduce yourself, because everyone knows who Pelé is," former president Ronald Reagan greeted Pelé when he arrived at the White House.
Maximilian Ibrahimovic
When you are the son of the “third best football player in the world,” the pressure must be crazy high to excel in the same sport. Thankfully, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ son, Maximilian Ibrahimovic, is a natural in showcasing his football skills as he currently plays for the PSG youth academy.
Zlatan is a Swedish football player who has a decorated career with 31 trophies thanks to his versatility and powerful striking ability. He currently plays as a forward for the LA Galaxy and is considered as “one of the best strikers in the game.” That said, we can’t wait for Maximilian to have his turn and shine bright on the field when the new generation of players takes over.
