But of all the different royal looks worn by Meghan Markle so far, the favorite must be her Stella McCartney wedding dress, which she wore after the civil ceremony.
Unsurprisingly, the gown has a simple silhouette, but the halter neck and form-fitting shape are extremely glamorous. The gown complemented the bride’s figure perfectly, and the pulled-back hair offset the neckline beautifully.
First Appearance as the Duchess of Sussex
Another iconic fashion moment took place in late May as Meghan made her first public appearance as Prince Harry’s wife and the Duchess of Sussex. She looked like the perfect princess in a blush pink pencil dress by Goat with a matching bespoke hat.
This look is stylish, feminine, and extremely modest as befitting her new status as a royal. This look is so traditional that Meghan even wore stockings with her pumps.
Attending a Commonwealth Event
As we’ve seen, Meghan Markle doesn’t often wear bold colors, but when she does, it always makes a statement. She donned an eye-catching bright yellow sleeveless dress by Brandon Maxwell to attend a Commonwealth event in London. This dress is a refreshing change from all of her signature nudes, soft pinks, navy blues, and blacks.
The dress also flatters her figure beautifully and features what seems to be swiftly becoming her signature bateau neckline.
The Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in 2015
This photo dates back to 2015 when Meghan Markle attended the 12th annual Vogue Fashion Fund Awards at Spring Studios. These were the days before Prince Harry was continuously by her side and before she married into the British Royal family and their rules and regulations.
This wonderful piece was designed by Misha Nonoo, who was not only a talented designer but also a very close friend of Meghan's at the time. The neckline completely complimented her figure, and the timeless and sophisticated creation had a perfect silhouette as she walked the red carpet. Even then, Meghan stood out as a fashion icon more than anything else.
Mountbatten Music Festival
This next image looks as if it was pulled out of a fairy tale, presenting a magnificent love story between a prince charming and his beautiful princess. Well, besides Prince Harry and wish-to-be princess Meghan, things were not all that charming at the time.
This image was taken at the Mountbatten Music Festival in 2020 when things were already humpy between the couple and the rest of the royal family. Meghan is seen in a stunning red gown designed by Safiyaa. The vibrant color added strength and boldness to her appearance, assuring she stood out more than anyone else in the crowd.
