Greg Olsen currently plays as a tight end for the Carolina Panthers, a position he has held since 2011. He holds the NFL record as the first tight end in the league’s history to record three consecutive seasons, with 1,000 receiving yards.
For undisclosed reasons though, Olsen is letting go of his grand estate in North Carolina, with an asking price of $1.7 million. It has an in-house library with a cool wine cellar and a beautiful landscape. It would be nice to read a book by its veranda in the shade, and sip wine in the twilight.
Todd Gurley – Chatsworth, Estimated $1.8 Million
Todd Gurley is an American football running back for the Los Angeles Rams. He’s been playing for L.A. ever since his entry to the pros, drafted as the 10th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Despite suffering from a torn ACL, Gurley still managed to outperform his peers, and was voted as the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
When it came to purchasing his home in Chatsworth, Todd Gurley had absolutely nothing in mind but fun and relaxation. It’s the perfect place for him to unwind and convalesce from the wear and tear that comes with the job. His $1.8- million property has amazing amenities, like a lovely walk-in closet and a huge pool with a waterfall slide.
Nate Clements – Hummer H2, Estimated $63K
The American football cornerback was one of the top prospects of the 2001 NFL Draft, where he had signed to play for the Buffalo Bills for five years. He played for the San Francisco 49ers next, and then the Cincinnati Bengals, in a career that spanned a little over a decade.
Clements’ contract with the San Francisco 49ers should have been enough to afford him a very comfortable life, totaling an astounding $80 million. This allowed him to purchase and maintain a collection of muscle cars, like his favorite 2006 Hummer H2, worth $63,000, without making a dent in his bank account.
Ray Rice – Porsche Panamera, Estimated $146K
Some athletes have a wild streak that can be hard to contain, especially when reinforced by their acquisition of money and power. In situations like those, they end up losing some money; there are lawyers to pay, damages demanded by aggrieved parties and whatnot. It can be a real sticky situation once you’re in it.
We’re impressed with Ray Rice’s wide collection of luxury cars, though. The running back for the Baltimore Ravens is a proud owner of a posh Porsche Panamera Turbo, valued at $146,000. Hopefully, he will be able to settle his legal battles with his wife and get back to focusing on his football career.
James Harrison – Shadyside, Estimated $1.8 Million, Estimated $1.8 Million
As an American Football linebacker, James Harrison was able to rake in millions of dollars over a period of fifteen years to live his dream of comfort and luxury. Playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was able to win two Super Bowls, and was named Associated Press NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2008.
Not bad for Harrison, who has made an investment in real estate property, acquiring an estate in Shadyside that is estimated at $1.8 million. He had his mansion remodeled and customized, and it now features multiple bedrooms and baths, a fully-equipped kitchen, and many other features.
