Actors Mark Harmon and Pam Dawber have both been in the industry for many decades now. They have also been happily married for more than 30 years, believe it or not. So, how do they do it? Harmon said to People, “We were both in our thirties when we got married, so hopefully, the stupid stuff we did earlier.”
‘NCIS’ star Harmon and “Mork and Mindy” star Dawber have two children. They are committed to their relationship, and Harmon also said of his marriage and his wife, “I’m proud to be married, and I’m proud of who I’m married to.”
Gene Hackman – Betsy Arakawa
Those with a good memory may remember that Gene Hackman was originally married to Faye Maltese. The two were together for 30 years and had three children, but eventually decided to part ways and divorced. Gene went on to meet Betsy Arakawa at the gym, where she was working at the time. They immediately hit it off and dated for seven years before getting married.
They tied the knot in 1991, and although they did not have children, Betsy became the stepmother of Gene’s kids from his previous marriage. The couple are still together and live in New Mexico. From their pictures, it is clear to see that they are still deeply in love all these years later.
Mel Gibson – Robyn Moore
When Mel Gibson and Robyn Moore met, he was an unknown actor, and she was a dental nurse, both living in New South Wales. They began dating, fell in love, and married in 1980. One year later, Gibson found international fame in the movie "Mad Max."
The two were married for 26 years and had six sons and one daughter. They separated in 2006 when it was revealed that Gibson had gotten pianist Oksana Grigorieva pregnant. The divorce was finalized in 2011, and Moore got one of the biggest divorce settlements in Hollywood history. Gibson and Grigorieva later separated, and he had his ninth child in 2017 with his current girlfriend, Rosalind Ross.
Michael Jackson – Debbie Rowe
The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, needs no introduction. He certainly had one of the most eventful lives and careers. But few people remember his second wife, Debbie Rowe. They met in the clinic of dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein. Rowe was working as a nurse there.
After Jackson divorced Priscilla Presley in 1996, he and Rowe began to date. They were married three months later and had two children. They divorced in 1998, and Jackson claimed their relationship was economic and not romantic. He received full custody of their children, and according to their prenup, Rowe was awarded $8 million and a mansion in Beverly Hills.
Michael J. Fox – Tracy Pollan
At a very young age, Michael J. Fox began his acting career. The role that made him famous, however, was on "Family Ties," and it was important for more than his career. On the show, he also met Tracy Pollan, who played his on-screen girlfriend and went on to become his real-life wife.
The two really connected when they starred together in the film "Bright Lights, Big City" and tied the knot in 1988. They have been married for 30 years and have had four children. Tracy has stayed by his side and supported him through his early diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease, and they are both active in his foundation that raises money to find a cure for the disease.
