There is no denying that James Bond has had an incredibly high number of love interests over the years. And the same can be said for the actors who played him – most notably, the late Sean Connery. French Moroccan golfer and artist Micheline Roquebrune first met legendary Bond actor Sean Connery at a golf resort.
Sparks immediately started flying, and in 1975, the two got married in a secret ceremony in Casablanca. Both Sean and Micheline had children from their previous marriages and decided not to have any together. Their happy marriage held on beautifully for over four decades until Sean’s peaceful passing in October 2020.
Hugh Jackman – Deborra-Lee Furness
He might have been the vicious Wolverine for the last few decades. But when he wasn't on the movie set, Hugh Jackman was being tamed by his wife of near-on 30 years, Deborra-Lee Furness. The Australian prison drama “Correlli” starred Deborra-Lee Furness and was one of Hugh Jackman’s first acting jobs.
Although she is 13 years his senior, the two quickly became inseparable and tied the knot in April 1996. Jackman even designed Furness’ engagement ring himself. The couple had their wedding rings inscribed in Sanskrit, reading “Om paramar mainamar,” which literally means “we devote our union to a larger source.” They have since adopted two children, but ultimately separated in 2023.
Orlando Bloom – Miranda Kerr
Imagine hitting the jackpot and winning the heart of the one and only Legolas. Model Miranda Kerr and "The Lord of the Rings" actor Orlando Bloom began dating in 2007. They married in a quiet ceremony in 2010 while Kerr was pregnant with their son. Flynn Christopher was born in January 2011.
Sadly though, all good things must come to an end and that's what happened to this seemingly perfect couple. After several months apart, Bloom and Kerr officially divorced in October 2013. Bloom has not remarried, while Kerr married Snapchat’s founder and CEO, Evan Spiegel, in 2017. They have two children.
Rami Malek – Lucy Boynton
Rami Malek has certainly had an eventful decade. Since his groundbreaking time on the series "Mr. Robot," he has won an Oscar for his portrayal of legendary singer Freddie Mercury in the film "Bohemian Rhapsody," but this movie not only helped his career but it also helped him find love. He met fellow actress Lucy Boynton on the set.
Lucy played Mary Austin, Queen singer’s lover, and longtime friend. Since their work on the film, the two have been inseparable. He recently thanked her while receiving an award with the words, “Thank you, Lucy Boynton. You have been my ally, my confidant, my love. Thank you so much.”
Dennis Quaid – Meg Ryan
When Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan met on the set of "Innerspace," he was an established star, and she was just starting out, but they only began dating a year later while working together again on "D.O.A." The couple tied the knot in 1991, and their son was born one year later. They separated in 2001, but their divorce did not impact their acting careers.
This was Quaid’s second marriage, his first was to actress P.J. Soles. He married real estate agent Kimberly Buffington in 2004 and had two more children. They recently divorced as well. Meg has not been married since, but is currently in an on-again-off-again relationship with musician John Mellencamp.
