Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson is known to some as Iceland’s strongest man, but most everyone else knows him from his appearance as The Mountain on the TV show “Game of Thrones.” And despite being such a cruel character on the show, he is actually a bit of a softy in real life. He met his wife Kelsey Henson in Canada when she was working as a waitress and asked him for a selfie.
The two recently tied the knot. They enjoy training in the gym together, and she helps him manage his own gym – Thor’s Power Gym. Henson is 19 inches shorter than her husband, but that doesn’t seem to bother either of them.
Eric Decker – Jessie James
Former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker married country singer Jessie James in 2013. They met through a mutual friend and dated “digitally” for a month before meeting in person. The coupled appeared on the E! reality show, 'Eric and Jessie: Game On!', from the time of their engagement until 2017.
During their time together, they have had two kids named Vivianne Rose and Eric. In 2016, Eric was injured and couldn’t finish the season with the New York Jets. This couple seems committed to each other and their marriage, and it looks like they are in it for the long haul.
Anthony Hopkins – Jennifer Lynton
Another legendary actor, Sir Anthony Hopkins, was extremely successful in his acting career, but unfortunately, his romantic endeavors were slightly more complicated. He married Petronella Barker in 1966, they had one child and then divorced in 1972. Their split was permanent, and each went on to pave their own way in life.
Only one year after the divorce, Hopkins went on to marry Jennifer Lynton. They were married for almost 30 years but divorced in 2002 after 29 years of marriage. Hopkins moved to LA, while Lynton remained in England. In 2003, he married his current spouse, Stella Hopkins, and they have been together ever since.
Michael York – Patricia McCallum
While she was working as a photographer, Patricia McCallum met famous actor Michael York. She was supposed to take his picture but ended up with a whole lot more, to say the very least. Since that day, the two of them have been in love, and her life has gone in a completely different direction.
They began seeing each other in 1968, on York’s 26th birthday and married that same year. Despite their long marriage, the couple never had any children, but Patricia has a son from a previous marriage. Amazingly, their relationship is still going strong almost 50 years later.
Daniel Day-Lewis – Rebecca Miller
There has never been a dull moment in Daniel Day-Lewis' illustrious career. In 1996, while working on the film adaptation of "The Crucible," the three-time Best Actor winner visited Arthur Miller, who wrote the play. While at his house, he met his daughter Rebecca, and the two fell in love.
They were married a year later and have two sons, Ronan and Cashel. Rebecca is also the stepmother of Daniel’s son Gabriel, who he had with French actress and singer Isabelle Adjani. They are still together, and both are busy in Hollywood, Daniel acts, and Rebecca acts, writes, and directs.
