While auditioning for the film “Ace Ventura,” Jim Carrey met fellow actress Lauren Holly. Jim got the role, but Holly didn’t. They met again on the set of “Dumb and Dumber” and began dating. They were together for almost two years before tying the knot in 1996.
Their marriage, however, was short-lived, and they filed for divorce after only nine months. They blame the excessive media attention for making their relationship impossible. Carrey was in many famous relationships since then but has never remarried, while Holly was married again, had three children, and divorced for the third time in 2014.
Bradley Cooper – Jennifer Esposito
Bradley Cooper’s acting career didn't take off overnight, and it took him some time to become the superstar he is today. He did, however, find love with successful actress Jennifer Esposito. They became engaged in October of 2006 and were married in December of that year in the south of France.
Sadly, the two never made it much past the honeymoon. By May 2007, they had filed for divorce, and it was finalized that November. “It was just something that happened,” Cooper said when talking about the marriage. “The good thing is, we both realized it. Sometimes you just realize it.”
Kurt Russell – Goldie Hawn
Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn’s relationship is one of the most long-running and admired in Hollywood. They began dating in 1983 and, despite never getting married, have been together ever since. They starred in four movies together, "The One and Only," "Genuine," "Original Family Band," "Swing Shift," "Overboard," and 'The Christmas Chronicles."
Kurt and Goldie have one child together, and he helped raise her two children. He also has a son from a previous marriage. Both of Hawn’s children, Kate and Oliver Hudson, are working actors. Most notably though, Russell and Hawn have proven you don't need to tie the knot to be in love forever.
Tom Selleck – Jillie Mack
Veteran TV actor Tom Selleck met his second wife, Jillie Mack when she was acting in the play "Cats." He saw her on stage and approached her. They have been inseparable ever since. She even agreed to follow her heart and leave London, and moved to Hawaii for him to shoot "Magnum PI."
They have been together for over 30 years and have a daughter. When asked about their marriage lasting so long, Selleck has said, “Jillie and I have a pretty good partnership. We don’t do anything or make any decisions without consulting each other. And if one of us makes a decision involving Hannah, the other parent completely supports that position, even if you disagree.”
Larry The Cable Guy – Cara Whitney
Daniel Whitney, better known as Larry the Cable Guy, met his future wife Cara when she was working as a radio DJ. They quickly connected and bonded over their country background and love of all things cattle. They dated for a year and then married in 2005 in a simple ceremony, which took place on a Nebraska field.
The pair have two children, a boy named Wyatt and a daughter named Reagan, after the former president. They are still together and are both very active in philanthropic pursuits and their respective careers. Cara must have been delighted to see Larry when he showed up on "The Masked Singer."
