Sometimes it works out best for both people in a relationship to part ways before a more serious commitment takes place. Best known for her starring role on the show “Empire,” Taraji Henson was engaged to retired NFL star Kelvin Hayden.
Hayden and Henson were engaged for two years and had significant challenges in their relationship. Henson said that she put the effort in on her side and that they both tried going to therapy but ultimately it was not meant to be.
Breakup: Susan Kelechi Watson And Jaime Lincoln Smith
Susan Kelechi Watson, best known for her role as Beth on the show “This Is Us,” got engaged to Jaime Lincoln Smith in September 2019. But the actress revealed (in a low-key manner) that she and Smith are no longer together.
No reason is known for the split but she deleted her engagement post featuring the fellow-actor from 2019 and stated in one of her posts that she is “single.”
Breakup: Paige DeSorbo And Perry Rahbar
Paige DeSorbo is a former cast member on the reality show “Summer House.” DeSorbo began dating Rahbar in the summer of 2019 and the couple appeared to be falling headfirst for one another, based on their social media accounts.
Things took a turn for the worst however and, while no details were given, Rahbar and DeSorbo are together no more. DeSorbo did confirm the split on her podcast, “The Gigglers,” but did not dish out any details. However, the two are no longer even living in the same states as DeSorbo lives in New York City and Rahbar moved to Miami.
Breakup: Christina And Ant Anstead
Christina Anstead was first married to Tarek El Moussa and both were co-hosts on the home renovation show, “Flip or Flop.” After the two divorced in 2018, Christina moved on with Ant Anstead, an English TV host.
But after barely two years of marriage the union fizzled out. Christina and Ant share a son together (they also have children from their previous marriages) and announced their separation in September of 2020.
Hookup: Cardi B and Offset
Cardi B and Offset have certainly been on a rap-romance-roller coaster! The two started dating in 2017, became engaged, and were married that same year. In 2018 they welcomed their daughter Kulture into the world.
Later that year, the power couple hit a rocky patch and Cardi filed for divorce. After a series of public apologies and declarations of love, the divorce was called off and the two are back together and stronger than ever even having a second child, Wave, together in 2021.
