We think the first thing to address is the image is the color of the wedding dress. Pink! Why did she decide to go with this color instead of traditional white? And then we started thinking – why don’t more brides go for a dress that is pink? After all, pink is a pretty standard women’s color. Moreover, really light, baby pink is perfect for such an occasion – in our opinion, at least.
This young lady decided to go against the grain and wore pink for her big day. The wedding took place in Ekaterinburg, Russia, and everyone seemed to be very happy for the bride and groom. What we would say is that the bride looks extremely young. With that said, maybe she just has a very youthful face.
Is This a Wedding or a Cat Walk?
Wedding dresses shouldn't just be for weddings, you know? There's no problem with multiple models dressing like brides at the hottest fashion shows in the world. Take this model, for example, who was spotted at Paris Fashion Week in 2023. Here, she can be seen backstage.
The Georges Chakra Haute Couture Spring Summer event of that year was about to kick off and here she was, wearing a pretty wonderful dress. Any prospective bride would at least consider trying this stunning gown on. With a beautiful cape-style train and delightful pattern in the torso area, what's not to love about this one?
The X-Ray Dress
If we're going to look at this from a traditional point of view, it is worth pointing out the following: In many cultures, wedding dresses have a strange double purpose. On the one hand, they are supposed to make the bride stand out from all other women at the event. But on the other hand, it's supposed to add a certain level of modesty and mystery to the bride. That's why many brides cover up large parts of their bodies and even cover their faces with a veil.
But as far as we can see here, this bride from St. Petersburg, Russia, isn't interested in covering her face for her big day. And while the dress technically covers most of her body, we can still see much of her skin because of the translucent netting style of the top, with just a small floral design to cover up some vital parts.
Russian Doll - Wedding Edition
This Russian bride almost looks like an ancient statue that is steeped in mythology and has been standing for thousands of years. If her skin wasn't radiant and her hair wasn't brown, we would suspect that this was the case. It just happens to be that her pose is very statuesque and she is very lean and tall.
The photo was taken next to an old wall in Russia. The bride can also be seen wearing a kokoshnik, a traditional Russian headdress, which has been worn by many since the 10th century. When you get married, it's normal to honor your roots, and this young lady did just that.
Japanese Garden - a Perfect Venue
We assume that this wasn't exactly where this couple recited their vows. But it's certainly a beautiful location to have some photos taken before the ceremony. This bride and groom can see locked in arms as they look at the calm pond in front of them.
They are wearing traditional Japanese wedding attire while undergoing a pre-wedding photoshoot at a park in the Japanese seaside city of Kamakura. There's nothing quite like marveling at nature during one's wedding day. It's probably a good idea to be as at one with the world as possible before you commit to one person for the rest of your life. It brings good energy.
