Who says that the bride needs to look completely innocent during her big day? Many women who are about to tie the knot can get quite creative with their wedding dresses, and might even choose to put their personality on full display for everyone to see. And it seems like this cheeky lady did just that. According to her sister-in-law, she was determined to wear a “wedding cape” for the event.
Why? Because she really wanted to look like a villain throughout the day. We have certainly heard of the term “bridezilla” being thrown around over the years. But this bride really leaned into that and wanted to look as sinister as possible. To be honest though, the white and the bouquet kind of undermine this goal. She still looks fairly pure.
Wedding: Baywatch Style
It's common knowledge that Pamela Anderson has had a couple of pretty high-profile marriages in her checkered lifetime. The actress/model infamously went through the most rollercoaster relationship with Motley Crue's bad boy Tommy Lee. There was even a miniseries about their crazy life together. And Pamela's marriage to fellow rocker Kid Rock wasn't exactly a cakewalk either.
Here, we can see the two exchanging vows during their wedding, which took place on a yacht, near the Pampelone beach in Saint-Tropez, of all places. They weren't particularly interested in traditions for their nuptials, so they decided to show as much skin as possible for the occasion. This photo was taken of the newlyweds having a drink not too long after they made the marriage official.
Want to Marry an Angel?
On a wedding day, the bride typically wears white, which we guess symbolizes their purity, which is surely about to be taken away from them once they get married! You could go as far as to say that they are supposed to look somewhat angelic with all of that white against a backdrop of people who are dressed in - well, other colors.
And it seems like this designer really leaned into that idea and maybe even went a bit too far. This dress comes with large, lavish wings. While we imagine that logistically, this might be a pretty difficult wedding dress to wear for one's big day, it certainly is unique and makes the bride stand out even more than they already would.
Our pets tend to be some of the most determined retrievers (and stealers) of things. Not only do cats and dogs have a tendency to bring all kinds of items into the home, but they also have a knack for taking things that don't belong to them. Seriously, how many socks have you lost because your pet snatched one of them and then lost it under the bed? But we digress.
This dog seized the opportunity and took canine theft to a whole new level. Apparently, someone was watering the plants when they noticed that their neighbor's dog dragging a wedding dress along the muddy grass. They really hoped that the dress had already been used.
Why Can't It Have Pockets?
On our wedding day, there can be a strong sense of hopelessness. For a start, everyone seems to want to assist you with every single little job. For control freaks and people with serious trust issues, this can be a really challenging day. After all, you're placing all your faith in others to hold onto the ring, maybe take care of your valuables, and maybe even hold onto your phone for large parts of the day.
And it's even worse for brides. Why? Because they usually don't have any pockets to hold onto anything. And they don't typically carry handbags either. That's what makes this dress so unique. It has pockets! And this bride explicitly requested to have some. And when the bride asks, the bride gets!
