This landlord had rented his house to a woman under section 8. Due to this, section 8 covered $1450 of the $1500 she had to pay.
The amount that she had to pay was $50, and yet she kept stalling. She did not pay her rent for months and completely refused to do so. Of course, the rent was important to the landlord, so he ended up evading her from his property.
A freshman who had been renting a house near his university decided to have a flat warming party with some of his friends. Everything would have been fine if it were not for the party being beach-themed!
To the landlord's dismay, it was covered in a few inches of sand when he walked into the apartment. The carpets and sofas were coated with a layer of sand crunched with the slightest movement. The landlord got his sweet revenge for giving him a hefty cleaning bill by evicting him, though. Life's a beach!
Fire to the Man-Cave
A couple had lived in this one flat, and they had happened to have gotten into a nasty argument one day. This small disagreement had escalated a bit too far. The unhappy wife had then happened to have gotten a bit reckless and had set fire to her husband's 'man-cave' - which was the entire living room.
Needless to say, the property damage was big enough to get them both evicted by the landlord, which had just hoped they would get divorced soon so another landlord would not have to face the same incident.
This landlady did not know what she was signing up for when she rented her 3-bedroom house to a family of 4. Eventually, other relatives started moving in, and their daughter had children, which grew their members up to 11!
This quickly became an issue as they had multiple cars and always parked them on the lawn. Not to mention they always blasted music which bothered the neighbors. And worst of all, they did not clear out their trash bins and did not pay their rent. Understandably, the landlady evicted all 11 of them without thinking twice.
The landlady had let a couple move into one of the houses she owned. Even though they were just normal at first, the landlady had gradually begun to notice how the couple had begun to make holes in their blinds so they could look at the people walking by and anyone near the front porch.
The landlady had especially found this very strange, considering this defeated the complete purpose of the binds. The landlady had eventually evicted them as they were making bystanders uncomfortable!
