The tenants of this landlord thought that it would be the perfect idea to sell their house keys to someone else while moving out. The landlord was out of town when these tenants had to move, and he had given them instructions on how to hand over the keys.
Instead of following that, they sold the keys! When the landlord returned and realized that a freeloader had been living in their house with two large dogs, he was horrified. The “key” takeaway here is to NOT sell your landlords keys.
The landlord let a family of four move into one of his houses, and he was very happy because they seemed very 'normal' and had no animals. A few months later, one of the neighbors called the landlord and claimed they had heard a rooster. Yes, a rooster!
Initially suspicious, the landlord drove over to check his house, and he was shocked to see the mess it was in. There was garbage everywhere, strewn across the front yard. The door was unlocked, the carpet was now brown all of a sudden, there were holes in the walls and garbage also everywhere inside. Everything indicates that there were more than four living there.
To this landlord's dismay, one of his tenants had thrown a housewarming party- not just a get-together, but an actual party. Loud music, blaring lights, people everywhere- this party had everything that you needed to annoy your neighbors.
So, after getting numerous noise complaints, the landlord decided to reach out to his tenant and tell him that while get-togethers are okay, parties are not. The tenant disregarded this and continued to throw parties. Even when the landlord gave him an eviction notice, the tenant hosted an "eviction party" where he and his friends broke the furniture and damaged the property.
Sketchy Pregnant Lady
When this couple had rented their house to a pregnant lady and her husband, they knew something was wrong. Yet, out of the kindness of their heart, they gave them the tenancy.
When the landlords visited them 3 months later, the place was a complete mess. Broken furniture, punched-in walls, and windows- the place was in utter shambles. The landlords did not think twice before asking the police for help, and the tenants had to pay for the damages as well.
Everything seemed in place when this landlady arrived at her newly evicted tenant's house. The landlady was expecting a huge mess, considering the entire battle she had to do to get them evicted.
One day, however, when she went to mow the lawn and could not find the lawnmower, she realized that that was what they had taken. In complete disbelief, she filed a report against them for stolen property and when the police went over to the tenant's new residence they saw it in shambles. Needless to say, two landlords won that day.
